The Beauty of the House is immeasurable; its Kindness infinite.

FIRST ENTRY FOR THE TWENTY-SEVENTH DAY OF THE NINTH MONTH OF THE YEAR I READ PIRANESI

This book feels like a fever dream for about 2/3 of it. The house feels claustrophobic and infinite at the same time. The entire thing feels… aimless, almost, at the beginning, but it very quickly reveals the mystery and therein the plot. I did not start the book thinking I would feel so emotional by the end. I understand all too well Piranesi’s feeling of not fitting in anywhere and emptiness. I am glad that I read this and I think it was entirely worth the read.
